Vocational training has been an integral part of our training programmes to help children learn a particular skill based on their ability. The older children are trained in various vocations to help them step into the main fabric of society with more confidence, dignity and self-esteem.
In the Stationery Section, the children are taught to make notepads, greeting cards, envelopes, gift bags and carry bags with recycled paper. The Catering Section undertakes orders for chocolates, cakes, burgers and rolls. In the Tailoring Section, children are trained to make hand-towels, tote bags, handkerchiefs, table mats and mobile phone pouches. The school also makes phenyl and cleaning powders which are available throughout the year. It has trained the children in Gardening and Waste Management and the garden waste is recycled into compost.
